  • Continue to reduce the number of potholes across Kingston & Cumnor

    Juliette is committed to seeing the number of potholes on the roads between our villages reduced.  She supports the action that has already taken place to invest in machinery such as Dragon pothole repairing machines. She is also a strong supporter of good communication and community eng
  • Action on climate change- carbon neutral by 2030

    Juliette is committed to the County Council becoming carbon neutral across its estate by 2030.  She is pleased with action that has been taken in this area to date such as changing 16,000 street lamps to LEDs and achieving the highest recycling rate for the 7th year in a row. 
  • Improve the safety of the A420

    Juliette is campaigning to see increased road safety measures along the A420 in Kingston and Cumnor and beyond.  The A420 is a trunk road that has seen an increased number of accidents and near misses rise to an unacceptable level as Oxfordshire's population has increased and shopping trends h
  • Infrastructure must be provided for any new housing

    Although planning is regulated and monitored by our district Cllrs, Juliette supports the development of a moderate number of well planned new homes for our communities.  She is very keen to ensure that local communities that accept new houses get the associated infras
  • Improve educational outcomes & standards for Oxfordshire children

    After the success of the Invicta National Academy over the summer holidays providing free catch up lessons for thousands of Oxfordshire children, I am calling on all schools to use some of their £80 per child Covid catch up funding on tailored online provision for those that are behind. 
  • Achieve swimmer friendly status for the R. Thames

    I am campaigning to gain swimmer friendly status for the river Thames.  Gaining swimmer friendly status for this portion of the Thames in Kingston and Cumnor division will also bring about and support campaigns to improve the  water quality of the Thames river in the whole of Oxfordshire.
